Level 1 History

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr P. Tucker.

History is the study of past events, learning about humanity’s heroes and villains. A theme of study, that arches over many topics, is a look at the scales of justice and whether a person’s actions really can make a difference in the fight for equality. Our larger topics include Māori leadership in conflict, including an overnight trip to the Bay of Islands to study the Northern Wars, the civil rights movement in America and the causes and consequences of the Great War.
