Course Description

This course offers an immersive and comprehensive exploration of the culinary arts, perfect for budding chefs and food enthusiasts. We begin with essential Health and Safety protocols for kitchen environments.
Students will undertake the "Make Your Own Meal Kit" unit, where they learn about various dietary requirements in the meal kit market. They will design and create a suitable recipe tailored to a specific client, enhancing their understanding of consumer needs.
Next, they will develop a traditional High Tea, Students will research, test and trial recipes, using feedback from stakeholders to refine their design ideas.
All practical work will be documented to support their theoretical studies. By the end of the course, students will have developed a robust understanding of both practical and theoretical culinary aspects, preparing them for future culinary pursuits.
