Level 2 Te Reo Māori
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Matua H. Koziarski.
In this course, students will research aspects of the wider Māori world. Students will display their skills using spoken language and written language. Topics covered in this course are Caring for Others, The Environment, Historical Events, and Tribal Histories. Additional credits can be achieved through Māori Performing Arts and through their participation in a marae stay, tikanga standards are also offered.
Approval to enter the course may be granted on application to the HoD Languages. Students need to be prepared to receive instruction in the target language.
If you have not studied the target language before, you must join the Level 1 course.
