Course Description

In this course, you will learn how whānau, communities, and organisations seek Hauora and economic growth through business, enterprise and innovation. 

Ākonga will gain an understanding of where they sit in the economic world and how being entrepreneurial will empower them to participate in society by making informed financial decisions. This include exploring the opportunities that innovation and enterprise provide for improving people’s standard of living as well as improving efficiency.

Taking this course will empower ākonga to understand economic activity, including accounting and business practices.  Ākonga will work through real-life problems relating to individual, whānau, and community financial wellbeing.
