Level 3 Art Photography

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms S. Carnachan.

Photography and Photoshop skills, development of a personal photography portfolio. (Optional Scholarship)


It is beneficial for students to have a DSLR or phone that can take good-quality images and a laptop capable of running Adobe Suite (no more than 4 years old) however, there is an Art Computer Suite and camera available for lending also available.

Based on student's strengths and interests, they can combine any standards to gain the credits they require for NCEA Level 3.

Costs include an art kit of individual items, professional printing of 3 x A1 panels, plus items that will be shared in the class in order to keep costs down. These shared items will be available over the year as required.
