Course Description

This course will help you develop a lasting interest in current local and global economic issues. Throughout the year, we'll discuss a wide range of topics affecting the New Zealand economy, their impact on society, how society addresses these issues, and the major influences of government on the economy. You'll learn about market failures and the strategies governments use to address them. The course also covers different types of market structures and international trade.

You will be assessed in this course through all or a selection of the standards listed below.
