Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss K. Newman.
Develop advanced culinary skills while catering for school events.
This course is designed for students who have completed and have successfully achieved the standards taught in Level 2. If a student has not completed the US167 food safety certification, they will need to achieve this before starting the Level 3 course.
At Level 3 students will learn skills in pasta making, baking and preparing and presenting canapes. They will assist in catering for different occasions at school.
Students need to have a high level of attendance as this is a heavily practical assessed course. This is a vocational course that prepares students for a hospitality career pathway and will also support students in developing practical life skills.
