Level 3 Art Design

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Miss J. White.

This requires the production of a three-panel folio of work (A1), which is submitted for external assessment at the end of the year.  The work on the Folio must demonstrate an intensive visual investigation of a well-defined campaign or brand identity.  The students have the opportunity to explore extensively digital media design outcomes such as logos, posters, magazine spreads, website design, app design, book illustrations and character design. 

Students are required to have a laptop capable of running adobe suite (no more than fours years old). 

Costs include an art kit of individual items, professional printing of 3 x A1 panels, plus items that will be shared in the class in order to keep costs down. These shared items will be available over the year as required. Students will also be given a student license to run Adobe Creative Suite on their own laptops or home PC.
