Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mrs E. Miller.
This course covers a wide range of topics relevant to teenagers. In the first unit, students will participate in a variety of practical activities that relate to the coping and management of stress. They will then evaluate how these activities helped improve their well-being. The second unit requires students to analyse a number of decision-making scenarios. They will reflect upon the consequences of their decisions through the contexts of food and nutrition, mental health and relationships. In the final assessment, students will research information on drinking, pornography and body image. They will then explain why they are influenced by each of these topics and the consequences on themselves, others and our society.
