Level 1 Commerce

Commerce combines three subjects: Economics, Accounting and Business Studies.                                             

• Explore how a diverse community participates in enterprise and innovation, studying how businesses work and how they impact the economy and society. 
• Ākonga will learn how to build a successful life by investigating the economic world:
• Understand how major events affect different groups like households, businesses and the government. 
• Explore concepts like supply and demand, market analysis and how businesses depend on each other.
• Learn about sustainability and ethics in business.  
• Make informed financial decisions with confidence, including budgeting, preparing financial statements, and analysing real-world data.
