Year 9 English

The English course at Year 9 will enable you to select and read texts for enjoyment and personal fulfilment, and also recognise and understand the connections between a variety of different texts.

You will learn to integrate the information you research and your knowledge to show your understanding of different and complex texts. You will also use appropriate reading strategies to confidently understand these texts.
