Course Description

In Year 9 English there will be a literacy focus. Literacy skills will enable you to select and read texts for enjoyment and personal fulfilment, and also recognise and understand the connections between a variety of different texts.
These skills will help you integrate the information from different texts to produce :
- Formal Writing
- Creative Writing
- Oral presentations
- Video productions
You will use appropriate reading strategies to confidently understand these texts.
