Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr D. Preston-Thomas.
The first unit requires students to learn about resilience, and strategies to manage difficult times in their lives. The second unit is a health promotion project. They attempt to enhance the wellbeing of a group of people related to a health issue of their choice. The final internal requires students to explore issues related to sexuality and gender through the use of music videos. The External changes annually, but the learning is based around an adolescent health issue in New Zealand.
