Year 9 Social Studies

Social Studies is about how people interact with each other and the impact this has on our wider society.  

We cover the following topics:

• This is us  - The  significance of the Treaty of Waitangi and taonga special to individuals and Aotearoa
• Explorers and Conquerors 
• My opinion matters - Examining different government systems 
• Cultural interactions - How different cultures are treated within any society.
