Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss K. Newman.
This course begins with essential Health and Safety protocols for kitchen environments.
Students will explore global cuisines and create an innovative fusion dish. They will also develop a menu for a pop-up Mexican restaurant, covering cooking methods, ingredient selection, pricing, and design.
Students will also expand their theoretical knowledge, delving into the design process, including stakeholders, briefs, specifications, and prototypes.
By the end, students will have a comprehensive understanding of both practical and theoretical aspects, preparing them for future culinary endeavours.
