This course allows students to participate in a wide variety of learning activities which are covered in both class and practical settings. Learning activities range from personal development (fitness based), exploring how methods and principles of training can improve our performance (sport) and an indepth look and focus on the roles that muscles and biomechanics play in skill development (sport). Activities that have been covered in this course range from traditional sports (volleyball & tag) to community based games (lawn bowls & petanque). However, each year activities are chosen collectively as a group - so student choice is a priority.
