Level 1 Japanese

This course aims to extend and develop the ability to communicate in Japanese and to deepen awareness of Japanese culture and way of life. Topics covered in the course are My Town, My Friend's Birthday, Travel and Japanese School.  Students will participate in a trip to an authentic Japanese restaurant and visit a Japanese store.

Students must be able to read and write confidently in Hiragana and Katakana. Students need to be prepared to receive instruction in Japanese.  This course is a prerequisite for Level 2 Japanese.
